Not long ago our lives were dominated by the cycle of day and night, the sunrise illuminated our days but as night fell and the land tuned dark all we could do was sleep. Today we take light for granted, day and night our world is illuminated. Technology has overcome and we move seamlessly from the natural light of day to the artificial light that illuminates the night.

In the era of digital civilisation, we see a future when humanity can say something similar about the natural and the artificial (virtual) world. A future where we move seamlessly between the two, as today we move seamlessly from the light of day into artificial light, we will move between the real and the virtual world. The SZ S&T Museum provides a glimpse of a possible future.
