Linhai Museum (Pterosaur Gallery)

Linhai Museum
(Pterosaur Gallery)

The Pterosaur Gallery of the Linhai Museum immerses visitors back in a late Cretaceous world where they are free to discover some of the secrets of these enigmatic and now extinct flying reptiles. How did they hunt? How did they move on land? Could they swim?

Our concept revolved around an imagined scientific basecamp and time portal through which visitors could ‘travel back’ to emerge into the pterosaurs’ Cretaceous world.

Visitors observe pterosaur behaviour first-hand, through high definition screens concealed within the ultra-realistic set works, and they participate in exciting missions to discover the answers to important scientific questions.
