Undaunted by the 30 degree heat, we just spent a successful day recording some readings in the beautiful Richard Booth Bookshop Cinema in Hay-on-Wye. The town and environs are home to many well-known authors and a number of them have kindly written short pieces specially for the Hay Castle interpretation scheme. This will be available to visitors and also on the Castle web site. The day was rounded off with a visit to the Castle to see the superb restoration and conservation works taking place.
