We’re closing in on the finish line with the interpretation scheme at Hay Castle. Lots of exciting media’s now in production including animations projected onto the ancient walls, displays of ancient Medieval artefacts, cast bronze creations and a display inspired by a pop-up book. Alongside these and other installations, we’re designing the signage scheme to help visitors find their way around the Castle and yesterday we did a walk-round to identify precise requirements for visitor orientation. It was a chilly but highly productive day that enables us to start creating signage artwork this week. The site opens next year and promises to be a must-see visitor experience in the Welsh Marches.
