ArtUK – Gloucester Cathedral’s Project Pilgrim

Great to see the interpretive blocks Imagemakers designed for Gloucester Cathedral’s Project Pilgrim being featured on the ArtUK web site this month! We created the artwork and woodcut-style illustrations and the Gloucester Cathedral stonemasons did the stonemasonry work. The words and imagery were then sandblasted it into the stone and infilled with resin. The blocks were an integral part of the wider interpretation scheme that tells the story of the Cathedral and won the AHI Discover Heritage award for historic property interpretation.
